Get to know just a little about Roseline...

My name is Roseline Adeyemo. I have experience working with rural farmers for close to 5 years and I have worked as an Agribusiness Coach for more than a year, developing my passion of empowering rural smallholder farmers especially in the area of finance, connecting them with the premium market and also the integration of youths in agricultural ventures. As such, organizations like Institute for Development Impact excite me since their current work is on “Children and Youth at Risk” as they develop programs for the psycho-social and educational support of these people, and conduct research on interventions to understand their full impact. One of my relevant strengths is that I am good at product design and design thinking in the Agriculture, Education and Information Technology sectors to advance human and economic development while leveraging innovation, creativity, collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills. For example, at Onelife Initiative for Human Development where I was seconded on the Dutch funded project called 2SCALE, when trying to integrate 4000 smallholder farmers into the supply chain of a starch processing company while also trying to improve their livelihood, I led my team in conducting market research in all the 17 local government areas in the state for the processing company and also conducted interviews for several smallholder farmers in the state to understand their pain points and where the impact would be felt most. My other relevant accomplishments include facilitating in the native language to the farmers as we jointly proffer solutions to challenges facing them in the partnership and also to give them a voice in the decision making. I look forward to contributing my skills to your organization.
